World Premiere of ‘In the Belly of the Eagle: Man@ng Is Deity’ Postponed In Wake of COVID19 Pandemic

Kularts Makes Plans for Virtual Events

San Francisco, CA, March 17, 2020 - Kularts, the premier presenter of contemporary and tribal Pilipinx arts in the United States, world premiere of 'In the Belly of the Eagle: Man@ng Is Deity' has officially been postponed. It was originally scheduled for April 3-5, 2020 at ODC Theater and April 24-26, 2020 at Eastside Arts Alliance, but due to the current situation of the COVID19 pandemic most of the Bay Area is in a “shelter in place” order, all public events are cancelled. 

“We have spent an enormous amount of creative energy, resources and heart on this project.” shares Artistic Director, Alleluia Panis. “For now all rehearsals are on hold until further notice. The postponement will impact all of the artists but most particularly those who juggle several art projects to make ends meet. We urge everyone to stay home and take these measures seriously.” 

 Kularts is now looking at how they can take their events/projects online. Ticket buyers can opt to donate the ticket price to Kularts or get their money back by contacting the ODC Theater for San Francisco and Eastside Arts Alliance for the Oakland shows.
