Pinay Musical Lineup Featuring Ruby Ibarra At UNDSCVRD Night Market
Filipinx American History Month Celebration In Soma Pilipinas

October 3, 2018, San Francisco, CA - UNDSCVRD SF is showcasing emerging female talent from the Bay and beyond with its Pinay Power lineup, featuring rising Hip Hop star Ruby Ibarra, raptivist Rocky Rivera, LA-based rapper Klassy and award-winning poet Faith Santilla who collaborated on Ruby Ibarra's Island Woman anthem, "Us" that will be performed at UNDSCVRD. Joining the line-up is soulful and vocal powerhouse Tracy Cruz, rotating DJ for the Golden State Warriors, DJ Umami, and Chicago’s DJ King Marie. The family-friendly event is the only Filipino night market in San Francisco located in the heart of SOMA Pilipinas, San Francisco’s Filipino Cultural Heritage District. The night market will also be a celebration for Filipinx American History Month, which is nationally recognized throughout the month of October.

After being a part of the Ruby Ibarra music video shoot for “Us”, I knew that I needed to do an all Pinay lineup for UNDSCVRD. The energy in the room the day of the video shoot was so moving that I wanted to re-create it at UNDSCVRD on a larger scale for the whole community. It’s gonna be the FIERCEST lineup yet.
