Celebration Takes Place at Dog Friendly Restaurant 7 Mile House
Tuesday, March 22, 2016 - Brisbane, CA - On Saturday April 2nd, 2016, Mighty Mutts Rescue (MMR), a new non-profit in Brisbane, CA will celebrate the launch of their organization that provides rescue, foster, and adoption services to all dogs in the Peninsula. The historic and dog-friendly restaurant 7 Mile House will be hosting the celebration festivities, and will also kick off a new dog adoption and fundraising partnership between MMR and 7 Mile House. Monthly dog adoptions will take place every first Saturday of the month from 12-4pm, and will include a “Furry Flea Market” with local vendors selling dog treats, apparel and supplies.
We’re excited to partner with 7 Mile House because we know these monthly adoption days will encourage people to rescue or foster a dog in need. We’ve rescued 40 dogs so far, and five of them were adopted during a puppy bowl event we organized with 7 Mile House. Shares Mighty Mutts founder Amanda Fould.
Recently nominated as “Best Dog-Friendly Restaurant in the Peninsula” (2016 Beast of the Bay Awards), 7 Mile House will be presenting MMR with a donation check raised through their “Paws on the Patio” dog menu. One dollar from dog meals purchased at 7 Mile House “Paws on the Patio” menu will be donated to MMR year-round, and 100% of proceeds will be donated on adoption days. About Mighty Mutts Rescue: Mighty Mutts Rescue is a Nonprofit (501C3) Organization that was founded in November of 2015 by Amanda Foulds, A long time rescue worker and volunteer. They are comprised of an amazing board & some incredible volunteers who come from all walks of "rescue life".
