Daly City, CA - September 12, 2016 - Local leaders will honor the Cow Palace tonight for 75 years of service and contributions in the community. Elected leaders from Daly City and the California State Assembly will present resolutions in observance of the occasion.

Both resolutions will be presented at 8pm tonight, during the City Council meeting in Daly City. Assemblymember Phil Ting (D-San Francisco) will present a resolution on behalf of the California State Assembly signed by himself and Assemblymember David Chiu (D-San Francisco). "It's an honor to receive this recognition, and we're proud of what the Cow Palace has been able to provide the community over the past 75 years,” said Lori Marshall. “Thank you to the City of Daly City, the California State Assembly, and the entire community for continuing to keep the Cow Palace a thriving event space. We're asking people to join the yearlong celebration by sharing memories, photos and videos with the hashtag #mycowpalacestory, and to help us begin a digital archive of Cow Palace history. We've also partnered with local company Modify Watches, to create a collection of anniversary timepieces that fans can wear to show their pride for the iconic Bay Area landmark."
